I bought last winter in a color set with a beanie and it has served me very well and will certainly continue to do so in future seasons. It may actually be a little too wide and quite loose around the neck and sometimes lay down not the way I would like, but nevertheless it makes a great layer of protection against the cold and does not need to be "pressing" for that.
